Based from home, this is a role that will involve extensive travel throughout Ireland along with regular targeted visits to key accounts in the UK.
You will be required to work alongside the Technical Manager and the wider team to maintain and develop existing accounts with customers that include major feed mills, supplement houses and nutrition consultancies.
You will be responsible for supporting our customers’ sales and technical teams on all aspects of technical nutrition information relating to our products, as well as establishing and co-ordinating field research. Along with the rest of the team, you will help build strong relationships with stakeholders across the livestock sector and will keep up to date with economic, technical and commercial developments across the agricultural industry.
We are seeking someone with a qualification in agriculture, animal science or a related discipline, ideally at degree level or above. We will be offering an in-depth three-month training programme, with ongoing continuous development and training/education also offered to the right candidate. You should have a practical knowledge of animal nutrition and a broad knowledge of dairy, beef and sheep production at farm level.
You will be a well-organised and punctual team player, with good communication skills, both written and verbal, confident presentation skills and excellent IT skills.
