Keith is a recent graduate from Scotland’s Rural College in Edinburgh, Scotland, where he received a BSc in Agriculture. Having grown up on a sheep farm in Donegal, Keith has always been involved in farming and working with livestock. He also developed a keen interest in the feed industry and nutrition after spending time working in his own family’s animal feed business.
Keith will be supporting customers’ sales and technical teams on all aspects of technical swine nutrition and health relating to Phileo products, coordinating field research and providing support to feed mills, pre-mixers and farmers in the UK & Ireland. He will be based at the Phileo by Lesaffre UK & Ireland office in Doagh, Northern Ireland.
“I am thrilled to serve in this new role at Phileo and start building relationships with farmers and customers,” he said. “The pig industry is such a specialised and technical sector, and I am looking forward to helping farmers use Phileo products to enhance the health and nutrition of their pig herds and get the best out of their animals!”
